City Council approves trolley route, restoring streetcars
El Paso City Council approved the Glory Road trolley and to restore old El Paso PCC streetcars at $1.6 million each for use on the line.
According to experts it will cost about $4.6 million per year to operate the 5.2 mile trolley system – about 50 percent more than a bus route.
