Uncle, nephew arrested for allegedly robbing store

El Paso Police have arrested an uncle and nephew who allegedly robbed a 7-11 in the 8300 block of Alameda.

According to police, 48-year-old Gerardo Arturo Rios entered the convenient tore at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday and allegedly demanded cash from the clerk and displayed a handgun.

He then allegedly grabbed the undisclosed amount of money and ran to an awaiting vehicle being driven by and 30-year-old Eric Rios. Both men were arrested and booked into the El Paso Coutny Jail on the offense of aggravated robbery.

Gerardo RIOS had bonds totaling $20,465 and Eric RIOS had bonds totaling $7,662.50.
