Man arrested after fleeing from westside rollover
El Paso police say they allegedly caught a man that ran away after crashing his car in west El Paso.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on I-10 near the Mesa exit. Police say the man was heading west on the freeway when he lost control and rolled into the eastbound lanes. Police say that’s when the man tried to run away, but they were able to catch up with him. Officers say they are looking into whether the man may have been drunk.
