Teenagers caught after alleged vandalism

Two teenagers were caught after allegedly spray painting a storage-type trailer, according to the El Paso county Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the 15900 block of Lavina Street at 1:20 p.m. Friday, after receiving reports of a disturbance.

Deputies took one 16-year-old into custody for criminal mischief and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

The juvenile had spray cans and a firearm, officials said.

A second suspect, 17-year-old Carlos Meza was arrested for criminal mischief.

Meza’s bond was set at $750.
