2012 story: Clint High School student found with weapon

A student at Clint High School was found with a weapon, according to officials.

ABC-7 first learned of the incident from a viewer, who told the station a student has a gun.

Officials could not confirm what type of weapon the student had, only referring to it as a “prohibited” weapon.

The district could not provide much information on the situation, but said, “An incident did occur at Clint High School involving a student. An investigation was conducted by school officials and all appropriate law enforcement have been contacted.”

The district did not identify any information regarding the student, such as a name or gender.
