El Paso Police arrest more than 750 in traffic warrant roundup

El Paso Police arrested 752 people this month who had outstanding traffic warrants.

Of this number, 311 were able to post bond – pay the warrants – and avoid being taken to jail.

The remaining people were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

The operation took place between March 9-22 and police are reminding the public that more warrant roundups will take place throughout the year and to pay off the warrants to avoid possibility of being arrested.
