El Paso Chihuahuas having job fair Feb. 15

The El Paso Chihuahuas will have a job fair on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the El Paso Convention Center, One Civic Center Plaza.

The fair is open from noon to 5 p.m. Applicants are urged to bring their resumes and dress to impress for an interview.

A variety of seasonal positions are available that are slated to begin in April, 2014 and run into September, 2014. The positions vary based upon skill sets.

The Following Positions Are Available:
Guest Service Agents
Ushers
Ticket Takers/Scanners
Parking Lot Attendants
Grounds Staff
Operations Staff
Retail Sales Associate
Kid’s Playground Attendants
Picnic Area Attendants
Suite Service Representatives

All positions pay minimum wage hourly.

Some Job Requirements

Chihuahuas management is looking to hire staff that can work all 72 home games and additional events as needed. Most games will be played at night. There are a small number of weekday mid-day games.
Candidates must be able to accommodate the schedule, stand for long periods of time and must be able to work outdoors.
