El Paso Police investigating alleged sexual assault of a child case at Moye Elementary

El Paso Police confirm they are investigating an aggravated sexual assault of a child case at Moye Elementary School in Northeast El Paso.

The male staff member being investigated for the alleged sexual assault has been removed from campus.

A parent from Moye Elementary showed ABC-7 the letter she and other parents received from the school on Tuesday.

The letter asked parents of kindergartners to allow their children to talk to El Paso Police about the assault case without parents being present.

The letter states the alleged incident may have taken place during school hours but the school’s princpal, Sandy Portillo-Sanchez, also said in the letter that parents show know all students are safe.
