Las Cruces Furr’s restaurant closing, dozens out of job
Dozens of employees are looking for a new job with the closing of the Furr’s cafeteria in Las Cruces.
Jill Laird, director of marketing for Furr’s said that this was the only one in the region closing and that the El Paso restaurant remains open. The Las Cruces restaurant had been open for seven years.
Around 50 employees – both full-time and part-time employees – have been let go from the Las Cruces restaurant
New Mexico has seven remaining Furr’s throughout the state. No others were affected. Laird could not comment on why the restaurant closed.
