Man found not guilty in aggravated assault of public servant
A man accused of aggravated assault on a public servant was found not guilty.
The jury came down with the verdict Wednesday for 21-year-old Fernando Lavenant.
Back in 2011 prosecutors said he was being arrested for not appearing in court and allegedly overpowered an El Paso County Sheriff’s deputy, took his car and led officials to a stand-off.
