Police arrest man for allegedly driving while intoxicated, possession of cocaine

El Paso Police arrested a man early Thursday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated and possession of cocaine after he was allegedly driving more than 30 miles per hour.

Police say they saw Juan Francisco Breceda, of the 4400 block of E. Missouri, driving a black 1997 Saturn east on I-10 East traveling 83 miles per hour in a posted 60 mile per hour zone at 3:22 a.m.

Police allege that Breceda had two plastic bags of cocaine in his front shirt pocket and a folded $5 bill in the center console. The cocaine weighed 2.1 grams.

Breceda also had two previous convictions for DWI offenses and as a result was charged with DWI 3rd or more.
