2 El Paso County Jailers fired after allegedly beating inmate that woke them from nap

Two El Paso County jailers have been fired after being accused of official oppression.

Fernando Robles and Ronaldo Castro were allegedly asleep on duty when inmates knocked on windows to wake them up.

The jailers then allegedly grabbed one inmate, took him to a room, and allegedly beat him.
