Update: Police continue to investigate rollover that killed 1 person; ask for community’s help

Aug. 18, 2014 Update: The El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic
Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate the crash that killed one person Sunday morning in West El Paso.

Police say they believe that there are witnesses, and possibly video, that could assist them in this case that have yet to come forward or be identified.

Any person who has information about this crash is encouraged to contact police at 915-832-4400 or, to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward, you may contact Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.

Police are not releasing, nor confirming identities of those involved in the crash because of the ongoing investigation.

Aug. 17, 2014 Story: One person is dead after a rollover in west El Paso.

The rollover happened on Interstate 10 near the Thorn overpass.

Police said one person was dead and that multiple people had injuries.

However, police have not released any other information including the exact number of people injured or if there was more than one car involved.
