Chamberino SWAT Incident ends

Dona Ana Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 400 block of Medina just west of Highway 28 Friday Afternoon. The deputies were responding to a suspected aggravated assault call.

When they arrived at the home, the male suspect barricaded himself in the house. Crisis Negotiators were called to the scene to talk him out of the home.

Deputies say the efforts wrapped up around midnight after they determined the suspect was not inside the house.
