Strong storms lead to power outages throughout Borderland Sunday night
Around 4,800 El Paso Electric customers throughout the Borderland were without power due to strong storms that rolled through the area Sunday night.
About 3,500 were affected by a downed power line reported off of Global Reach and Montana.
The other 1,300 customers without power were scattered throughout EPE’s service territory.
There were reports of flooding on parts of Northeast El Paso streets, including Diana, McCombs, and Dyer.
