Canutillo ISD unveils digital initiative
The Canutillo Independent School District is taking a big leap into the digital age.
District officials unveiled an initiave they’re calling E-Canutillo Friday.
It’s actually three separate things: a redesign of the websites for the district and each of its schools, a brand new CISD smartphone app, and a system to anonymously report bullying that includes a website and an app.
The new portals offer all kinds of information including, bus routes, sports scores.
“We know in 2014, with disruptive innovation, communication is vital, communication is 24/7,” said district superintendent Dr. Pedro Galaviz.
The CISD app is available for both I-Phone and Android smartphones.
