Tree limb causes power outage in Las Cruces

About four thousand customers were without power overnight in Las Cruces.

El Paso Electric confirmed that the outage happened at about 3:13 a.m.

The outage was related to the inclement weather. A tree limb fell on a power line, which caused the outage.

The area where it originated was marked near the Interstate 10 and Interstate 25 fork.

Power was restored an hour later.
