Fund created to help pay for funeral expenses of woman who drowned in NE flood on Monday
An online fund has been created to help pay for the funeral expenses of Constance “Connie” Manzanares.
Manzanares died on Sept. 22, 2014 when she drowned during a flash flood in a canal in Northeast El Paso.

“She leaves behind a family that is understandably in shock and overcome with grief,” the GoFundMe donation page reads. “Those of us who knew and loved Connie, her wonderful husband who passed away many years ago, her father Tony, her beautiful daughters Claudia, Regina, and Diana, her doting son Danny, and her angelic grandsons Daniel and Jacob, appreciate all of your kindness, prayers, and support.”
Family told ABC-7 Sept. 22 that Manzanares had been driving on Railroad Drive when it became too flooded and she turned onto Vulcan when her car was swept into the canal on Diana that intersects with Vulcan.
