Furloughs at Fort Bliss lifted

Just over 3,700 civilian employees of the Department of Defense and Army who were furloughed last week are back at work at Fort Bliss.

Everything is at 100 percent operation, including William Beaumont Army Medical Center and the commissary, according to Fort Bliss’ spokesman

Because Beaumont is at “full operation,” there will be no cancellation of specialized procedures like surgeries.
