Follow El Paso’s future Triple A team online this season as they play final season in Tucson

The Tucson Padres and Cumulus Radio Tucson have announced all 2013 Tucson Padres games will air on 1290 AM The Source.

“This new radio deal is exciting news for our fans,” said Mike Feder, Tucson Padres General Manager. “1290 AM The Source has a strong signal and airs sports programming all day. It is a great fit for us.”

The Tucson Padres, bought by MountainStar Sports Group, will move to El Paso and start playing in the Sun City in 2014.

Most Tucson Padres games will air live. When the T-Pads are playing at the same time as the Arizona Wildcats, Padres games will air on tape delay after the Wildcats game. All Padres games will stream live via www.tucsonpadres.com.

Play-by-play broadcaster Tim Hagerty returns for his third season as voice of the Tucson Padres and his tenth season in Minor League Baseball. All game broadcasts will have ten minute pre-game and post-game shows.

The first Tucson Padres broadcast in 2013 airs on Thursday, April 4 at 5:25 pm live from Salt Lake City. The Padres first home game is Friday, April 12 vs. Fresno at 7:05 pm. For Tucson Padres season tickets or vouchers, call (520) 434-1367 or visit www.tucsonpadres.com.
