List of El Paso locations for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Thousands of sites in all 50 states, including 33 right here in El Paso, will be open so that we can drop off our expired or unwanted prescription medications before they get into the wrong hands or end up in the wrong place.

Many Americans don’t know how to safely dispose of their old medications, so they flush them down the toilet or throw them in the trash. That’s dangerous because it can create safety and environmental hazards. So I encourage you to look in your medicine cabinet tonight and gather up the medications you no longer need or want. Then drop them off tomorrow at any of the sites listed here, including UMC’s very own West Texas Regional Poison Center at 4625 Alberta right behind the Medical Center.
