4 arrested after El Paso Police investigate shots fired call

The El Paso Police Department’s gang unit has arrested four people while investigating a Northeast El Paso shots fired call that happened on the morning of June 6.

Gang Investigators arrested the following:

Shaniqua Atkins, who had seven outstanding municipal warrants (Bond $ 578.00)

Brittany Buttler, who had two outstanding municipal warrants (Bond $ 643.83)

Elijah Munn was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) Over 1 gram – Under 4 grams Drug Free Zone and eight outstanding municipal warrants (Bond $17,075.00)

Elgie Munn was arrested and charged with Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity – Deadly Conduct, a Class A Assault warrant, and five municipal warrants (Bond $50,946.00).

Police said that officers located an expended bullet casing and that the investigation is ongoing.

Police also said that the gang unit anticipates more arrests and additional charges. Gang investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this shots fired incident to call the El Paso Police Department at (915) 832-4400.
