El Paso shoe company Spira joins forces with TV’s Duck Dynasty
Could a new dynasty be born on Aug. 16?
El Paso shoe company Spira is set to officially announce its special camo shoes connected with A&E’s popular Duck Dynasty TV show on Friday. The show’s new season starts on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
Both Spira and Duck Dynasty teased the shoes and announcement Monday morning.
On Spira’s Website and Facebook page, the eccentric and bearded stars of the show are pictured wearing desert camo with the silhouette of a shoe and Friday’s date on the cover photo.
The Facebook photo caption reads, “#?DuckDynasty? ?#?Spira? ?#?shoe? coming August 16, 2013. Tune into DD on the 16th to find out how to get yourself a pair!”
Duck Dynasty tweeted a picture of Spira CEO Andy Krafsur with a fake beard and holding a couple of pairs of Spira camo shoes as if they were ducks.
Spira has a prior relationship with A&E from earlier this year when the shoe company was featured on A&E’s Project Startup to raise money for a line of shoes.
