Sun Metro closes Five Points terminal for renovations

Sun Metro closed the Five Points Terminal on Sunday, July 7 to begin renovations.

The closure is expected to last until early 2014 but the department has prepared an alternate site at on Tularosa and Raynor. The alternate site has shade canopies, information boards, trash cans and portable restrooms.

The improvements at the Five Points Terminal will include several of the amenities that are at the Downtown Transfer Center, like free Wi-Fi, TV monitors, real-time info displays, and more. The Five Points Terminal also is getting a face lift in preparatio of the Sun Metro Brio.
