Carlsbad Caverns closed Friday due to weather

Carlsbad Caverns National Park is closed Friday due to recent weather conditions.

The main road is impassable because of flooding and it is covered by debris. Rain chances continue Friday for the area.

The park will open as soon as the roads are clear and safe to travel.
