June 2, 2014 Story: A woman is in critical condition after an early morning wreck that sent her and others to the hospital.

The accident closed off Loop 375 at the Zaragoza overpass in far east El Paso after the incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. Monday.

Three people were outside of their vehicles changing the tire on Loop 375 when a Ford F250 veered into the emergency lane and struck all three people.

The truck also hit the Maixima and the F150.

All three individuals were transported to area hospitals with the two males reported to be in stable condition and the female sustaining life-threatening injuries.

She is in critical condition.

The driver of the F250, a 41 year old man, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in police custody awaiting charges to be filed.

El Paso Police investigators say they believe alcohol, on behalf of the driver of the F250, is a factor in this crash.

Police are withholding identities based on the status of the investigation and will be released when possible.
