Las Cruces City Council to discuss noise ordinance

Authorities in Las Cruces say they are having trouble enforcing the city’s noise ordinance.

The problem is bad enough that city council will discuss the issue on Monday.

Authorities say that when they receive complaints, they can not locate the source of the noise or the source has already left by the time they arrive.

Las Cruces police say they had received nearly 200 complaints so far this year.
