Stabbing leaves man hospitalized in serious condition

A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed Saturday in East El Paso.

Officers were first called out to the scene regarding a fight. It happened shortly before 3:30 in the afternoon at a home at 524 Lomaland.

According to police the victim is a man in his 30s. He was taken to Del Sol Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators said they had identified a suspect, but had not made any arrests as of Saturday evening. They did say that the suspect and the victim knew each other.
