TRAFFIC ALERT: Road closures include I-10, US 54
Beginning Monday, drivers can expect alternate, east and west bound lane closures on I-10 and Loop 375.
TX-DOT said the closures will take place on I-10 from Redd road to Viscount-Hunter every night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The reason for the week long closure is due to crews removing and re-striping the existing edge lines.
For loop 375 alternate east and west bound lanes will be closed between I-10 and Franklin State Park and I-10 Paseo Del Norte intersection.
The closure will also last all week long and will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews will be patching concrete and installing clearance signs.
TxDOT also announced the following closures:
LANE STRIPING ON I-10
Expect alternate lane closures on Interstate 10 between the Redd Road overpass and the Viscount/Hunter overpass.
Sunday, June 15 through Friday, June 20 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Crews will be removing and re-striping lanes on I-10.
AESTHETICS PROJECT
Nightly closures on I-10 begin Sunday, June 15 through Thursday, June 19 from 9:00 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Closures include the downtown exit ramp, Mesa exit ramp and Porfirio Diaz ramp.
BRIDGE PREVENTATIVE REPAIR PROJECT
The following closures will be in place Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Alternate left and right lane closures (northbound and southbound) along US 54, bwtween the Hondo Pass overpass and the New Mexico state line.
Alternate northbound and southbound lane closures on Joe Battle (Loop 375) at the Montana overpass.
MONTANA WIDENING PROJECT
The right lane along Montana Avenue will be closed Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Yarbrough and George Dieter.
Crews are working to widen Montana Ave.
NOT HAPPENING THIS WEEK
The complete closure of the westbound lanes on I-10 has been cancelled for this week.
The closure will occur on Sunday, June 22 at 7 p.m. through Monday, morning at 6 a.m.
This complete closure will occur each night, Monday through Thursday, June 26 from 7 p.m. to the following morning at 6 a.m.
Project limits are from the Redd Rd. Overpass to the New Mexico State Line.
Westbound traffic will need to detour through North Desert Blvd.
