Pedestrian struck near UTEP Saturday dies
A man who was hit by a car near UTEP around 9 p.m Saturday night has died.
El Paso police say 48-year-old Armando Jezbera was crossing the 2900 block of north Mesa on foot when he was hit.
Police say Jezbera was walking in the crosswalk when it happened.
The man driving the car investigators say hit Jezbera was 72-year-old Robert Ferrell. He remained at the scene during the investigation, police said.
