ABC-7 Update: Man Killed After Vehicle Runs Him Over

A man is killed while working on a truck that was parked in the Providence Hospital parking lot.

It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday on the 2000 block of N. Oregon.

Police identified the victim as Jose Trujillo, 31.

Trujillo and another person were working on a Ford F-250 truck when Trujillo got underneath the truck to remove the drive shaft so the vehicle could be towed.

The vehicle started to move and Trujillo was caught under the truck’s right rear tire.

Trujillo suffered injuries to his head and later died.

No foul play is suspected.
