El Paso Catholic diocese extends deadline to fill out survey; new deadline is Monday, March 16

The Catholic Diocese of El Paso is asking for your opinion.

The survey is a response to Pope Francis’ request to seek input on the questions of modern family life.

The deadline to fill out the survey has been extended to Monday, March 16.

Your responses will be sent to the bishops from around the world and discussed at their meeting called a synod in Rome.

The bishops’ synod will be held in October 2015.

As of the morning of March 12, the El Paso diocese has 825 online survey responses and have received about 50 hard copies.

English and Spanish copies of the survey are available to complete online or download at the Tepeyac website.

The hardcopies will be available at most parishes this weekend. We are asking that they be returned as soon as possible. We will finish the report on March 17 so that it can be Washing D.C. by March 20.
