Former LAPD officer wanted for murder last seen in El Paso, according to father
Henry Solis, the former rookie Los Angeles Police officer sought in the killing of a man, was last seen in El Paso, Texas, according to a federal warrant.
According to the federal document, Henry Solis called his father’s home in Lancaster, Calif.
Shortly after these calls, his father, Victor Solis, left his home in a hurry, according to the warrant. On Saturday, March 14, Victor Solis, his pickup truck, and his dog were seen in El Paso, Texas and Victor Solis was interviewed by El Paso FBI agents at on March 16, 2015.
Victor Solis told the FBI agents that he drove his son, Henry Solis, to El Paso on March 13 and dropped him off at a bus station but he does not know where Henry Solis is.
Henry Solis is suspected of shooting 23-year-old Salome Rodriguez earlier this month during a fight outside a bar east of Los Angeles. Herny Solis has been charged with murder.
Henry Solis’ Volkswagen Jetta was found Sunday about four blocks from the site where the shooting occurred.
