UTEP football team to have annual spring game Friday night

The UTEP football team will conclude its spring season by holding the annual spring game on April 10 at 7 p.m. in Sun Bowl Stadium.

The event affords fans the opportunity to watch the team in full pads for the first time this year in a one-hour scrimmage, which will also feature one-on-one drills and two-man pod action.

Fans are invited to a pre-game tailgate from 6-7 p.m. in the North Entrance of the Sun Bowl.

There will be 300 free hot dogs for the general public and special giveaways for UTEP students, with the festivities brought to you by the UTEP Residence Hall Association.

Full concessions will be sold in the Sun Bowl as well. Miner fans are also in for a treat, with live in-game player interactions providing unprecedented access and information.

There will also be free commemorative spring-game posters available, which should come in handy during the post-game autograph session with the seniors for the 2015 team and head coach Sean Kugler.

UTEP football season tickets for the 2015 campaign are on sale and may be purchased by calling (915) 747-6150 or visiting the UTEP Athletics Season Ticket Office, located in Brumbelow Building Room 109 next to the Don Haskins Center. Prices start at just $55 for general admission seats.
