Cielo Vista Mall adding more space for stores, restaurants

Cielo Vista Mall will be expanding by 125,000 square feet.

The expansion will include 35 to 40 new specialty stores and three to four restaurants.

“We are delighted to execute this plan to accommodate many high quality retailers and restaurants that want to be at Cielo Vista Mall,” said Simon’s David Contis, President of the company’s mall platform. “We have an iconic retail property in a very dynamic market. There is a great deal of interest in this newly available space.”

Construction will begin in January 2016.

Currently, Cielo Vista Mall, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, has more than 1.2 million square feet of retail and entertainment with more than 140 specialty stores and 19 eateries.
