A fight at a downtown bar in the Union Depot entertainment district early Sunday morning took an even more violent turn after several people involved in the fight hit the streets and began shooting.

Police arrested two men after they were caught fleeing the scene of a shots fired call around 12:55 a.m. According to a release, Central patrol officers responded after a fight broke out and shots were fired into the air near the 100 block of Anthony Street. Responding officers saw a 2014 Jeep Wrangler fleeing the scene and driving erratically east on Paisano Drive. The driver and passenger inside the vehicle were identified as having fired guns into the air while the fight was occurring, and two handguns were found in the vehicle.
