Alamogordo man arrested for allegedly touching minor inappropriately

Alamogordo Police have arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly touching a female juvenile inappropriately.

On February 6, 2015, Alamogordo Police officer began investigating allegations that Jonathan Sparks was inappropriately touching a female juvenile subject, as well as forcing the female juvenile victim to expose herself to the male subject.

As a result of the investigation on Thursday, April 16, officers arrested Sparks and charged him with the following:

1 Count of Abandonment or Abuse of a Child (3rd Degree Felony)
1 Count of Criminal Sexual Contact of a Minor (4th Degree Felony)
1 Count of Voyeurism (4th Degree Felony)

Sparks was subsequently released on a $10,000 un-secured bond.
