derby… decker had a donut in round 1… that’s right… didn’t hit a single one… he got going in the second round however… he popped off 6… that’s a solid round but not enough to give him a chance to win it … afterward… he offered an explanation … it was all the pitchers fault… “selfish. he was selfish. h didn’t want me to succeed. i think he really showed that in that round. it was embarrassing of him to sit there and jam me. he knows the scouting report. i’ve played against him many times. i think he needs to look himself in the mirror tonight and understand that he’s deprived everyone of a sweet home run derby.” the one guarantee is cody decker is always going to find a way to be the most entertaining guy… he’ll play in the triple-a all star game on wednesday…
