Chihuahuas win double header Sunday

The El Paso Chihuahuas had a double header against the Fresno Grizzlies Sunday afternoon.

This was due to a rain delay Saturday evening, so both games were played back to back starting at 5:05 p.m.

The Chihuahuas came out in dominant fashion in the first game winning 7-1 scoring 4 runs in the 4th inning and 2 more in the 7th.

The second game the Chihuahuas did much of the same as they posted 6 runs in the first 5 innings of play. They beat the Grizzlies 7-1 in the second game.

With both of these wins, the Chihuahuas are now back to .500 on the season at a record of 47-47. But they still sit back 8 games out of first place in their division behind the Las Vegas 51’s.
