UTEP Football: Miners Leave for Ruidoso

camp… if that’s the case… the season is now underway for the miners… the miners left on their busses for ruidoso this morning … that’s aaron jones … ruidoso is a definite upgrade from alpine… the players are ready to get things started… true freshman kavika johnson is here from mayfield… and coach kugler has already said johnson will see the field this year… not a bad thing for him to hear before camp… “it makes me very excited but that’s not going to stop me from grinding and giving it my all on the field. i’m going to give it my all and do my best to contribute to the team in any way.” “camp awesome. camp is more violent, it’s more physical and that’s what keeps us going. that’s what drives us and that’s what we’re going to bring to the field so that’s what we’re looking forward to.” “i’m real looking forward to it. it gets repetive after a while just lifting weights and running so it’s fun to put on the pads.”
