Highway 28 in Berino reopens after deadly crash

A New Mexico State Police officer said two people are dead after a crash in Berino, New Mexico. The investigation shut down Highway 28 at Afton Road for most of the morning. It reopened after 1 p.m.

The crash happened after 9:30 a.m.

The impact sent one vehicle into a ditch. The car was tipped on its side as crews conducted their investigation.
