I-10 west reopened after multi-vehicle crash

I-10 west is open again after three vehicles crashed near Airway early Friday morning.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. and forced the freeway to be shut down. Emergency dispatchers tell our ‘Round the Clock news team that one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. At this point it is not clear what caused the crash. While the borderland saw plenty of rain in the hours before the crash, weather has not been confirmed as a factor.

The scene was cleared by 3:30 a.m.
