Wrong-way driver causes crash on I-10 east

A wrong-way driver is to blame for a crash on Interstate 10 near Trowbridge Drive early Thursday morning.

It happened just after 4 a.m.

According to emergency dispatchers, three people were taken to University Medical Center, one with critical injuries and two others with minor injuries.

I-10 eastbound was down to one lane. The scene was cleared about 6 a.m. and all lanes were opened again.
