Police arrest suspect in Jewelry Gallery burglary

Police arrested James McLendon, 51, in connection with a burglary at the Jewel Gallery.

The burglary, caught on camera, happened August 28, 2015 at the shop located at 7134 N. Mesa.

According to investigators, McLendon broke through the walls at two adjoining businesses to enter the jewelry store.

Police said McLendon was also wanted for a separate theft and a separate burglary of business charge.

He was booked into the county jail on a $65,000 bond.
