Dozens without water Tuesday morning after water main break

More than a dozen El Paso Water Utility (EPWU) customers are without water Tuesday morning after a water main break.

The water main break was reported early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Pecos Street and Rusk Avenue. The neighborhood affected is in south-central El Paso, south of Alameda Avenue.

El Paso Police blocked off the neighborhood as EPWU crews worked to fix the 6-inch break in the water line.

The water main break affected customers within a two-block radius.

EPWU did not say when water would be restored.
