Estela’s Escuelas: Western Hills jingle jog

who are giving back to their community in today’s estelas escuelas… students at western hills elementary combined physical education with the spirit of giving at their first annual “jingle jog” toda student council members have been collecting jackets and coats for about a month from their fellow classmates. together they collected 160 jackets, toys, and other articles of clothing that went to the child cris center. “it’s really amazing to hel kids in need because we have everything that we need. we got homes, we have food and for them to be giving other kids food and jackets, it’s just really amazing.” it was all leading up to today’s “jingle jog” — that’s where th physical education kicks in. during p-e, students traded donations for running laps! it was all to raise money for updated equipment, field trips, classroom streaming, and more. the city will be holding a meeting tonight
