Quintuplets Update: Home for the holidays

ever quintuplets in august. each baby tipped the scale at under two pounds. and were about 13 inches long. vanessa, jackeline, monserrat, samuel and diego were in the hospitals of providence nicu several months/weeks before they were allowed to come home. but susana and marco giron- delgado just brought home four babies. vanessa died when she was just 20 days old. today i met with the proud parents preparing for the holidays. we got an inside look at what it’s like to clothe, feed and change four babies -at once! mom and dad talk about the daily challenges and how much they miss one of their baby girls. every time i see one of the girls i see vanessa but she’s in a special place right now, we have an angel watching over us. trey stice is the nicu director. he and his staff have been watching the babies thrive. 14:07 “happy to know we hav five beautiful additions to the world because i still count vanessa. i took care of her and she is here with us in the nicu and here and she’s taking care of these four little ones. it makes me happy for all the moms and dads who have gone through terrible situations… it puts things into perspective.” listen to my sit down interview with marco and susana and get a better look at the babies tonight on abc seven at six. with the excitement around the new star
