UPDATE: ABC-7 is back on air

UPDATE: We are back on air!

ABC-7 engineers and El Paso Electric crews have replaced the equipment that was damaged after several power outages Monday morning. ABC-7’s Over-the-air, Comcast and Dish service has been restored. Our thanks to our awesome engineers and EPE employees who hiked up the Franklin mountains during yesterday’s high winds and freezing weather to troubleshoot the problem!

Original Story: ABC-7 learned on Monday that many of our viewers could not watch us.

The on-air signal was knocked off-line after power bumps on Monday.

The tower at Ranger Peak lost power and has been out since then.

We are waiting for El Paso Electric to make the trek up there sometime during the day Tuesday.

Our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to fix it.
