CBP to offer hiring tips for agency careers

If you’re thinking about a career in border law enforcement, Customs and Border Protection recruiters will be attending a hiring seminar May 18 at Park University on 1330 Adabel Drive. There will be three session s that day: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Space will be limited. Anyone interested in attending should register in advance by calling 915-834-8848.

The CBP Hiring Seminar will provide information on the USAJOBS application process, requirements, and resume structuring tips for all interested applicants seeking employment with CBP as a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) and/or a Border Patrol Agent (BPA).

CBP recruiters can help applicants navigate the federal application process, paying specific attention to being prepared to complete applications using accurate information, employment dates and similar items normally required when applying for a career. Minimum job requirements and resume building tips will also be covered at the Park University event.
