SISD Open House events begin in August

Parents, students, and community members are invited to take part in the 2016 Open House events in the Socorro Independent School District.

The meetings will begin on Aug. 29th for all campuses in the Americas High School feeder area at the high school, 12101 Pellicano.

The Open House events will be from 5 to 7:15 p.m. at each high school and will feature food for the first 500 people, student entertainment, as well as student fingerprinting services and immunizations.

The Open House events will continue through September as follows:

Americas feeder area Aug. 29 at Americas High School
Montwood feeder area Aug. 30 at Montwood High School
Eastlake feeder area Sept. 1 at Eastlake High School
El Dorado feeder area Sept. 6 at El Dorado High School
Socorro feeder area Sept. 14 at Socorro High School
Pebble Hills feeder area Sept. 15 at Pebble Hills High School
